Active Simulator rooms now pause through sign-in interruptions and reconnect in place instead of returning players to the lobby.
Card browser header and filter controls stay opaque while cards scroll beneath them.
Multiplayer Showdowns use the familiar battlefield popup: open fields have no phantom defender, entering opponents become blocking defenders, bystanders get optional passes, and Chain approvals identify each responder; required Showdown buttons show Q/W hotkeys in every mode.
Multiplayer battlefields no longer show setup-contributor P-tags that could be mistaken for current control.
Showdowns and the Chain remain independently usable; Beginning keeps them open, End Turn settles them, and Unit tokens or duplicates do not open new Showdowns.
Recorded results do not cover or freeze the table; Solo Play can advance either controlled seat without switching views.
Duel, Solo Play, and Goldfish restore legacy scoring: negative score corrections are preserved, automatic points stop at the target, and Cleanup does not declare a score winner.
Mulligans stay simultaneous and return selected cards to the protected deck bottom before drawing replacements.
2v2 allows face-up Unit plays and non-Unit moves beside a teammate; ally-only Units do not start combat, and a non-combat Showdown can open after the teammate leaves.
Hidden Gear uses the normal reveal-to-Base and Equip controls; Reveal to Opponent changes visibility only.
Lobby actions align or stack with the available panel width.
Changelog
Week 33
Aug 10–16, 2026
Release Sealed pack opening: Choose Vendetta Sealed or either Pre-Rift format, open its products, then build from the generated pool.
Homepage and header searches now suggest fuzzy card-name matches with cropped art.
Sealed Quick Match keeps the deck registered to a restored search, even if another draft is selected while the match connects.
Hidden Gear stays face down when played to a battlefield, and Edge of Night can attach to a controlled Unit there when played from face down.
Completed games keep their recorded winner while allowing further board actions for testing and analysis.
Battlefield setup lets each eligible contributor choose a registered battlefield or use Random in Duel, free-for-all, and 2v2 games.
Incoming card pings now play one sound per ping instead of repeating during board updates or realtime recovery.
Legal saved and published decks are rechecked after Standard ban updates instead of appearing Incomplete until edited.
Simulator games again allow simultaneous mulligans and let any player use the Chain; ending the turn resolves its remaining entries and closes the active Showdown.
Multiplayer Showdowns now identify both combatants and the Focus holder in a compact battlefield popup with smaller, clearer actions.
Week 32
Aug 3–9, 2026
Release Sealed: New pools use six Vendetta boosters under Standard Limited rules; both Pre-Rift formats remain available in private and solo games.
Vendetta constructed decks now enter Standard Quick Match, and the retired Vendetta deck opt-in is no longer shown.
Release Hosted multiplayer modes: Private rooms support 1v1, three- and four-player free-for-all, and 2v2 with 2–4 seats, ready checks, invite links, and compact setup.
Multiplayer rules use three battlefields plus Baron, all-player Priority and Showdown Focus, strict-lead Cleanup wins, and a last-player Rune; 2v2 shares 11 points and teammate Priority.
Phase advances now wait for open rules windows, departures preserve surviving play, and 2v2 Hold scoring follows the turn player's team.
Simulator setup resolves mulligans in turn order, randomizes Best-of-1 battlefields, and applies the official Duel opening draw and second-player Rune rules.
Multiplayer boards scale compact zones, enlarge the active remote board, pin pile counts, and show score, colors, presence, pings, emotes, and card control without exposing private information.
Cross-player attachments stay beside their Unit through movement and detachment; Equip starts from visible, unattached Base Equipment and targets a visible Board Unit.
Standard Constructed rejects Stealthy Pursuer, Aspirant's Climb, and The Arena's Greatest; Master Yi, Wuju Bladesman is banned only in Constructed 2v2.
Hosted rooms return to a clean lobby when anyone leaves during setup, including Duel, and simultaneous actions no longer overwrite departures.
Duel, Solo Play, and Goldfish hide multiplayer P-tags and reject inactive third-field interactions; spectators retain deliberate reveals and departed Duel boards remain viewable.
Simulator mulligan cards now become the real hand cards as they arc into place across online matches, Solo Play, and Goldfish, removing the visible swap before replacement draws.
Card browsing, card details, deck pages, and the Simulator now show their destination shell immediately during navigation while dynamic content continues loading.
Simulator room entry now recovers from slow or interrupted requests without leaving lobby controls stuck, and Quick Match can be cancelled while it is still preparing.
Large board artwork now loads higher-resolution variants on high-density displays.
Simulator Goldfish setup now uses the illustrated first-player panels when choosing whether to play first or second.
Simulator background state refreshes now keep valid deck peeks and other open board panels in place and stay silent unless a gameplay action is discarded; Rewind and Forward still close views tied to the previous timeline.
At compact desktop widths, header search controls no longer sit underneath navigation links, while Sets, Sealed, and Random remain available from the menu.
Deck Builder now shares searches and card filters between Main Deck and Sideboard while keeping other section filters separate.
Simulator reconnects now keep the existing player session active until its replacement receives the current match, and spectator visibility changes reconnect only affected viewers that miss their refreshed view.
Simulator deck peeks now place additional controls under More, including private bottom-card looks with optional reveal and shuffling only unrecycled Main Deck cards while keeping recycled cards at the bottom.
Opening a deck peek now keeps edge-anchored board controls and piles fixed in place.
